Best Home Workout Equipment for Beginners (What I Actually Use)
You don't need a home gym. Every workout on this site works with four things, and two of them cost less than lunch.
- A thick exercise mat: 6-10 mm thick so knees and wrists don't hurt on a hard floor. Non-slip on both sides.
- Mini resistance bands (set of 5): The cheapest way to make glute work harder. One above the knees for bridges, kicks and squats.
- Adjustable dumbbells: One pair that goes light to heavy saves space and money. Start light for raises, heavier for squats.
- A sturdy step or box: For step-ups and incline push-ups. A solid stair works too.
- An interval timer: So you can hold the plank without watching the clock.
